Started off in late 2014 as a software and apps focused programme, the AiTLE-ETC TestBed Programme has already enabled over 60 Hong Kong primary and secondary schools to experience a range of the latest educational software and apps  as well as hardware, from over 30 hand-picked British, German and international edtech suppliers for an entire school year, in return for feedback from schools, parents and students.   For software, schools are to use the product completely free during the TestBed period, whereas for hardware, schools only need to pay a subsidized rate for perceptual ownership.

In response to the Hong Kong Government’s directives in STEM education, in 2016 the TestBed programme has expanded its scope to cover a wider range of STEM /STEAM education solutions. Many of which will be showcased at this year’s  Learning &Teaching Expo, from 8-10 December 2016, Booth G33/G34,  Hall 3DE, Hong Kong Convention Centre, Wanchai.


This section of the web site features most of the products under phase 1, 2 and 3 (new) of the AiTLE-ETC Educational Software/Apps TestBed programme.   You will see teacher sharing inside products under the past TestBed Phase 1 and 2.

Special highlight of the second round calling for participation at the AiTLE-ETC TestBed programme is the focus on STEM and STEAM.  We are promoting schools to explore cross-over of different STEM/STEAM solutions:
