Accelerated Reader helps teachers access data-based insights into student reading practice, manage personalized goal setting, and connect to a worldwide community of support.    

How it works: Teachers set personalized reading goals for each student, using key factors for success: quantity (time spent reading), quality (reading comprehension), and difficulty (text complexity). Students individually select books to read, taking an Accelerated Reader comprehension quiz after finishing each one. Immediate feedback is shared with the student and teacher after each quiz, including comprehension level and number of words read. 

With quizzes for 225,000 books and new quizzes constantly added, Accelerated Reader offers students vast reading options. Its Discovery Bookshelf provides personalized reading suggestions, and any book with a quiz can be found at www.arbookfind.com.

Celebrating 15 years of What Kids Are Reading
