Measuring Skin Resistance

The skin presents 99% of the electrical resistance for the body. Skin resistance varies not only with bodily location, but also is closely linked to skin moisture and neuropsychological conditions

 

Fingertip Pads

A comprehensive picture of both static and dynamic skin conditions can be studied. Single-event recording can be used to explore local variations, and continuous monitoring employed in the well-known Stroop Test for helping teach aspects of psychology.

 

Practical Teaching

The Wireless Skin Resistance Sensor Pack can be used to investigate a number of scientific activities such as:
